Varun Ramraj received his B.Sc. from the University of British Columbia in Computer Science and Biology. During his undergraduate years, Varun worked in numerous research labs, mainly building specialized software for automation of lab and research workflow. His interest in interdisciplinary work culminated in fourth year where he built an automated image analysis platform for a Botany laboratory. Upon graduating, he continued the interdisciplinary theme; under the guidance of Dr. Kendall Ho, he is currently pursuing a Masters in Bioinformatics with a focus on clinical process map analysis.
