Grace Mickelson, RN, BScN, MA is the Corporate Director, Academic Development, for the Provincial Health Services Authority in British Columbia, Canada. Her role involves educational research and knowledge exchange initiatives that support evidence-based decision making in health services. Since 2006, she has served as Co-chair of the Partnerships and Knowledge Exchange Committee for the Canadian Inteprofessional Health Collaborative, she is a member of the Western Interprofessional Health Collaborative, and she recently joined the Planning Committee for the BC Nursing Health Services Research Network. For several years, Grace has been working with leaders in health care, the academic sector and government to develop innovative practice education models and align health professional education with health workforce needs.
